Here is the Martha Washington Geranium my sister-in-law, Phyllis, gave me last fall. A real show stopper! The blooms on it were incredible and they lasted a very long time.
Phyllis planted a wonderful Argentine Giant cactus that has huge, reddish flowers when in bloom instead of the more common white flowers. They're night bloomers and the flowers don't stay open very long--perhaps 1 to 2 days, but they are a sight to see when they are in bloom. I rushed to her house to take some photos and by the time I got there, the blooms were already starting to fade a bit. They were still absolutely gorgeous nonetheless.
